Your DSL modem/router is already doing DHCP and NAT.  Is there a special
requirement (e.g. transparent proxy) for having NAT and DHCP in the
server too?

If not, just let the DSL modem/router do the DHCP and NAT and let your
server do whatever else you need it to do.
