Gnomemeeting and Voip; how to start...

Hi all,

I'm just looking at the possibilities of voip from my Hoary computer.
Gnomemeeting seems to be the default application, but I have no
experience with voip yet. Is it the right place to start, as I don't
currently need all the video-conferencing bits?

Is there a mini-howto anywhere that concentrates on Gnomemeeting?
Advice would be especially welcome on how can I test the setup after
I've gone through the druid stages. (It all appears to be ok locally.)

If I want to make calls to fixed lines (on pots), what are the options
available? Gnomemeeting sends me directly to Diamondcard; I don't know
them, are they OK?

Neil
