Hi all!
I'm an untypical Linux user, so I liked the idea for years, but never
got the "right" system, one I really loved till I found Ubuntu. And I
think Ubuntu is a great system for the desktop, so I tested my own
productivity at work, where I gotta use WIndows and at home with my
Ubuntu. So I was bout 4x faster.....
In the moment there are Linux weeks in Vienna. I just returned from
them. So actually most events are today and tomorrow. Novell is there,
IBM, Debian, BSD, Sun,.... Most of the ditributions giving away free CD's.
But I couldn't find Ubuntu. So actually that's not completley true there
was I guy from a bookstore who had also a Ubuntu Package with Hoary CD,
German manual und a T Shirt included. But what he knew about ubuntu was
fairly good, he made negative publissity for my taste. So if I didn't
sure wouldn't use it after what this guy said.
I think it's a pitty, because Ubuntu is just what these guyes are
looking for, a great Linux Desktop, so why wasn't anybody there?
Rainer
