upgrade problems

I assume this is related to Breezy rather than Hoary since I haven't
seen any updates to synaptic myself. In the future, please point out
that your question is regarding Breezy, that way you will get better
answers.

I suspect this is temporary. I used to track Hoary before it was
released (while I had a broadband connection at home) and things similar
to this happend quite frequently. It was almost always related to the
way packages are uploaded to the repository, sometimes it was in an
"incostistent" state. Just wait a day (sometimes much less) and it
should go away.
