Java and RXTXcomm

Hello,

I am working on a java program that uses the RXTXcomm implementation for
accessing the serial ports. The compilation works and I can run the
program as root but NOT as a normal user.

I looked whether a LCK..ttyS0 file is being created in /var/lock, but in
vain. I also changed the group of /var/lock to uucp and put myself in
the uucp group. But does not work neither.

Can anyone help?
