I've noticed a lot of Python in connection with Ubuntu, maybe that's the
'next big thing'?  I don't know, I'm not really up on programming
languages (maybe a batch file or two, a little bit of C from university
days, a bit of ahem, VBScript from my attempts at ASP.)

I don't think it's wise to chose a programming language because of the
book's cover, but Perl...
