Help with ASUS WL-330g

I need help getting a wireless access point to work on a PowerBook that is
running Ubuntu.

Even though the newer PowerBooks have wireless cards built into them, after
searching through several forums all I came up with was that it wasn't worth
the time and effort to try to get the internal wireless card working because
nobody had come out with a driver to support it.

Several people suggested a "plug n play" wireless access point called
WL-330g by ASUS. I ordered it and while it claims that it needs no drivers
to work, I cannot get it to play nicely with Ubuntu.

I did call ASUS support and when asked how to make the product work with
Linux, the technician asked me what Linux was. I explained to him and he
asked around the room. Nobody there knew how to set it up.

I imagine all I have to do is change some settings in the TCP/IP or some
such but I am a newbie to Linux ubuntu and could use some specific
directions. This thing plug into the networking port and is a very tiny
wireless access point.

Thanks in advance for any help!
