Changing dimensions of a Screen in XOrg at runtime

Yeh,

You can go system->preferences->screen resolution

apt-get install gnome-randr-applet
There is also a handy panel applet (right click panel -> add to panel ->
find it in there, i dont have it installed to see what its called0
