Firestarter keeps blocking ports I told it to open

I'm trying to use the Gnutella2 network via mldonkey. I set Firestarter to
allow incoming traffic to the port I set for Gnutella2. In spite of this,
Firestarter keeps blocking UDP hits to that port. it will *keep* blocking
that traffic even after I right click on one of those hits and tell it to
allow that service.
Is there a reason Firestarter is ignoring what I told it to do, and is there a
way to get this working?
