Yes. I'm using an Nforce 4 SLI: the Asus A8N SLI. I've been using it
with parallel IDE drives and (for the moment) an old-fashioned PCI ATi
Radeon 9250.
The Radeon 9250 has been causing a number of problems, but it looks
like that's a problem with the card (and driver), not the motherboard.
The motherboard itself has been very stable.
It has full support for AMD Cool'n'Quiet: when the processor's not being
used much, it will slow it down to 1 GHz (on current Athlon 64s), and
drop the voltage. It will also vary the fan speed depending on how hot
the processor is. In a well-ventilated case and cold weather, the fan
will occasionally *stop*, which is a bit disconcerting. (It just means
that the processor doesn't need active cooling...)
I don't have any SATA drives, so can't comment on the support for them.
I have had a few problems with the front USB ports: I'm not sure how
much that's the motherboard and how much it's the cable (which is part
of the case): it feels like I'm getting too much radio-frequency
interference there.
Hope this helps,
James.
