Hi Bob.
I am currently using a MSI K8T Neo2-FIR with a VIA K8T800 Pro chipset.
I did need to update the BIOS to get it to play nice with my RAM, Other than that, no problems to report. The on board LAN and audio work fine, and the firewire port is detected (I have yet to actually use the port, so I cannot make further comment.)
My only other comment on this board is that the BIOS has a very simple overclocking interface, offering several preset "stages". I am running a mild overclock, with standard cooling and have had absolutely no stability or temp issues.
All in all, I am happy with this board.
