Webcam Creative Labs NX

Hello

Does anybody use the Webcam Creative Labs NX (Bus 001 Device 002: ID 
41e:401c Creative Technology, Ltd Creative WebCam NX [PD1110]) under 
Ubuntu Linux?

If yes, how did you get it work?

I use Hoary (5.04) with kernel 2.6.10-5-386. I compiled the driver from 
zc302.sf.net. The driver loads just fine but when I start xawtv my box 
just freezes. Hitting the reset button is the only way to get the box 
back to live.

Any help?
