if its software that is in universe, the MOTU care for it

if a package is nonexistent in debian and ubuntu we consider it a NEW
package which has to match certain quaility standards

if you are interested in learning packaging you could drop by on IRC in
the #ubuntu-motu channel and try to become a MOTU yourself ;)
if you just want to suggest having it included, you can put it on

where new motu candidates look for packages to adopt..
