Dell sc 1420 Poweredge

Dear gentlemen

I just purchased a Dell SC 1420 server and am trying to load Ubuntu Debian GNU/linux 3.0r0/4 WOODY I386; NON USA

My error message is as follows I can install the UBUNTU i386 install cd but after reboot i get the following error messages:

A total of 7 times that it repeats itself all over the screen. the screen looks exactly like this.

*configuring network interfaces...    {ok]
*Setting up general console font... {ok}
* Setting up the system clock using the Hardware clock as reference...


At this point it freezes cursor blinks and nothing happens after this. Please help asap
