Hello,

sometimes my laptop (hp nx9000 running warty) starts "beeping" and does
not stop until i reboot.

This is what i found in dmesg:

mtrr: 0xd8000000,0x4000000 overlaps existing 0xd8000000,0x200000

and this is my /proc/mtrr:

reg00: base=0x00000000 ( 0MB), size= 256MB: write-back, count=1
reg01: base=0x10000000 ( 256MB), size= 128MB: write-back, count=1
reg02: base=0x18000000 ( 384MB), size= 64MB: write-back, count=1
reg03: base=0x1bf80000 ( 447MB), size= 512KB: uncachable, count=1
reg04: base=0x2bf80000 ( 703MB), size= 512KB: uncachable, count=1
reg05: base=0xd8000000 (3456MB), size= 2MB: write-combining, count=1

and from lspci:

0000:01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon IGP 340M

I'd like to solve this problem because it is really annoying me.

Any ideas?
