RAM (and Speed)

I get 1min 28 secs including the GDM login process before Ubuntu is
completely booted. This included the clicking on Nautilus home icon and
having it come up on the screen. I can't try windows on this machine as
I never loaded it :-)
PC is Athlon 3200+ with 1GB RAM a 20GB hdd and a 200GB hdd.
