help with nvidia and agpgart on hoary

Yes I did a sudo update-modules.

my xorg.conf says option nvagp "1"

and doing a cd /lib/modules/`uname -r`/kernel/drivers/char/agp/ gives me 
no directory found, it stops at /kernel/drivers/char/ :\
