hi david,
sorry no answer to your problem, but i see the same behaviour on a box i
installed hoary two days ago. before hoary, the box ran gentoo and the
box connected to the router fine, got an ip and there you go.
after switching to hoary, dns is completely gone mad.
this means in detail that every site that dosent work gets assignd to a
certain ip. try a 'ping' or 'nslookup' in a terminal on the sites that
dont work. do they get assigned to the same ip?
on my box every site that wont work gets assigned to (79.202.101.103) or
somethging like this.
while i could connect to google and ubuntulinux.org, archive.ubuntu.com
and many others where assigned to the same ip that definetly is wrong.
