dns problem in hoary?

Hi,

I have upgraded several packages through synaptic using normal ubuntu 
hoary sources about two days ago.  And for some reason after that, I am 
constantly losing networking connection.  It seems like it's losing dns 
capability or something because the network seems to be able to send 
packets back and forth but unable to resolve names.

I am using IBM T42 and have the latest hoary packages installed.  Is 
anybody else experiencing similar problems? or anybody have any 
suggestions where to look at to resolve this problem?
