dont fiddle with the attribs, there is an extra option for it in your 
/etc/dhcp3/dhclient.conf, uncomment the "prepend domain-name-servers"
line and add a valid nameserver there....
like that:

prepend domain-name-servers 217.115.139.139;

then the nameserver you put into that line above will always be used in
your resolv.conf if it gets updatet.
