Windows emulation help

Hello all. Still a newbie here. Unfortunate to say, but i would need to 
run some Windoze programs under Linux. I know there is Wine and Crossover 
Office and VMWare. But what about things like QEMU or others?

Also, i got VMWare up and running, but cannot get Windoze to install. No 
matter what Windoze CD i put in, 98SE or XP, i get the error that the CD 
is not bootable. Any ideas on this?
