need copy of nvidia 6111 patched driver

Doesn't work for me, it says that gdm is already running ! (like I typed
"reload/restart" and not "stop"...)
So I just press alt+ctrl+BS, or simply reboot...

Yes ! :o) That's why I tried to install it, hoping for the best (and
expecting the worst ;o)


I will try again. But in the meantime, I tried installing their brand
new nForce driver, and that screwed the machine (hangs at boot, during
hotplug), so I will have to re-install Hoary (I am writing this from my
trusty Warty, on another hard drive...), which will take 30 minutes,
plus another 30minutes to download and install all the updates. Wel,
that's what week-ends are for isn't it ?! ;o)
