Latest Hoary and Skype

FYI that I've found that if I start Skype with esddsp ("esddsp skype"
in a launcher or in a terminal), it doesn't hang. I still don't get
any sound, however. If I call the echo123 test operator, I see
messages saying it's ringing and then connecting, but I don't hear
anything at all. This is a bummer because I really do use skype a lot.
I'd hate to lose it on hoary.
