Olli: Yes, Linux is smart and don't need a primary partition. But I
think there's no bad in following the standards as primary partitions
are for OSes and logical ones are for data storage. For example if one
doesn't want to use GRUB or lilo (don't know a reason why, but surely
there are human beings who do) one will see the importance of primary
paritions. Okay, it's not a must.
Also it's a very important thing to remember that Windows need the
boot flag set on his boot partition. Maybe some of the people with win
boot problems have this issue...
