Testing apt sources at install

I've just installed warthog on my IBM A30 laptop.
On rebooting, I see:

"Testing apt sources...
ERR http://archive.ubuntu.com warty/main Packages
     Could not connect to archive.ubuntu.com:80 (1.0.0.0), connection timed  
out."

Same for warty/main Release, warty/main Packages and for  
security.ubuntu.com.

Why would it report 1.0.0.0?
That can't be right.... right?
