That was the first thing that i tried, naturally. It doesn't seem to
have any effect.
hdparm /dev/hdc does reveal this error though: HDIO_GETGEO failed:
Invalid argument. However I believe that was there in Warty too, and
sound-juicer worked just fine before the upgrade (earlier today).
