Well, regardless of support, technically, it will indeed be out of date
the day, the second, that Hoary stable is officially released.

Just like anything really. If you buy a car the day before it's about to
be phased out and replaced by it's successor then, well, your car is
bound to be outdated after only one day of ownership. 5 years later it
will still be under warranty (at least for rust) but it will be even
more outdated !
I could go out and get road side assisstance and mechanical warranty for
my 15 year old car, which is several generations behind modern cars.
That would give me support, but the car is still way outdated I am
afraid !
