:-) I'll be ordering a Hoary CD or two when it comes out to put my
money where my mouth is. I like this distro and want to see it go
places.

I don't know the first thing about applying patches (other than they
exist and a high-level understand of what they do) but I did file a
bug report. It's a pretty major irritant (much more so than missing
icons... I noticed it but that didn't drive me absolutely bonkers...
and I have 0.5 GB of RAM... I wonder what people with 256 or 128 have
to suffer through :-(. Right now I've got a piece of paper infront of
the light that dims it but I'm going to try the (temporary) solution
suggested by the mad doctor of typing 'old' in yaboot.
