I think that's terribly counter-intuitive. Just because Mac's have
used that method of ejecting floppies and CD's since 1984 doesn't mean
that it makes sense.  Windows has 'press start to shutdown', Mac has
'throw your beloved picture CD in the trash to eject'.

Let's not go there.

Preferably, I'd like the eject button on the drive to just work. :)
Buttons may be bad, but buttons that do nothing when pressed are
worse. And all drives have eject buttons, thus they should work (or at
least offer some kind of response that would ultimately lead to the
safe unmounting and ejecting of CD's!)
