You will also need a wifi card whose driver supports scanning. I have a
Dell C.400 laptop with an internal card that uses the Orinoco driver.
Unfortunately, the orinoco driver that comes with Hoary does not support
scanning and so wifi-radar would not work.
I downloaded the latest driver from the web site (google for linux
orinoco driver) and compiled it and wifi-radar now works.
Now if I could just get it to work with kismet, I'd be really happy!
