system freeze installing libxine1

Sounds like it is in some broken state....

did you try: sudo apt-get -f install ?

What are the permissions on 
/usr/lib/xine/plugins/1.0//xineplug_decode_nsf.so ?

try to change the permissions and run the remove
again.
