Use Ubuntu on a laptop

I have just installed Ubuntu in 4 IBM (different models) using centrino
and it installed perfectly... 

btw IBM taiwan does not support or have linux drivers.  i had this
problem with my radeon laptop when i installed debian RC1.  But ubuntu
was a different matter.  It even detected the wireless adapter.
