We could have it download an original, fresh, daily African proverb from
a main Ubuntu server to keep us entertained while booting.

Ideally, to remain consistent in behaviour with the boot-time ntp
clock-update, it would still try to connect to that server even when the
network already noticed that there isn't any network. :-)
