Smart Package Manager on Ubuntu

Since it reads from the source.list and apt-get cache on your system, I
fail to see how what you said applies. The only reason they make a .deb
version is to be able to install it. There isn't any references build
into the packaged version to what repo's it will seek out. Also, a
current version of this application is made available through Ubuntu's
mirrors. Anyone using Hoary can install this without breaking
dependencies...

That is why I specifically asked for any experience in using it, not
opinions on it value over what's currently in use. I don't want to start
a Chevy versus Ford debate. :0)

I did install the program on a spare Ubuntu box and it works just fine.
I would still like to know from someone who has used the application for
some time now how they like it. So...anyone on this list using this
package manager?
