I'll ditto that. I'm pretty much just using the brute force method
(along with the site that James pointed out). I've ripped apart and
put back together so many computers in my day that I can't imagine
that I'll run into any problems. I'm really looking forward to the
extra space, the ubuntu install (again), and hopefully a 5400rpm drive
for a little "pick-me-up". :o)

As far as the wireless stuff goes, I appreciate the several references
to the DWL-122. I have some birthday gift money burning a hole in my
pocket. I may just have to pick one up!

Now I just need an external TV tuner with a hardware MPEG2 encoder
that'll work on Mac/Linux/Windows. Ugh. I'm such a gadget junkie.

Oh... By the way Mr. School of Physics and Astronomy, if you feel like
taking a minute to send me a message off-list about entry-level
telescopes, I'd be much obliged. You tend to go out of your way to
find interesting things to do when you're off work with a medical
problem. :o)
