Network printing to ubuntu

Hi

I have a HP 4255 connected locally to my Ubuntu machine. I try 
http://10.0.0.1:631 to get the printer path but i receive permission 
denied. Firstly i would like to know how do i obtain the full printer 
name of my printer ?

I am trying to print to this printer through the network from Mandriva 
but am unsure whether i should use lpd or which other option as i have 
tried them all and none seem to work, my path must be incorrect. This 
printer uses the HPOJS or HPIJS driver so i don't know if this is 
messing up the situation. I have this configured on Mandriva.

The printer prints 100% on Ubuntu locally.
