Installation report for Acer TravelMate 8100

Brief update: The Acer ezDock works under kernel 2.6.12-rc6 with a small
additional patch (see the LKML discussion on PCI Express/PCI bridges).



The latest ATI driver 8.14.13 works as well as the last one:  The image
on the internal LCD is fine on BIOS 3C22, 3D acceleration works (the
usual hackery for  post-2.6.11. kernels is required), but the DVI
output is _STILL_ dead  ](*,)
