Ubuntu Hoary Hardware Requirements?

I would tend to think that the typical middle-class north-american
household is running that kind of computer with windows XP.



We are not talking about poeple who want cutting edge hardware, who
upgrade weekly.  Most regular people will use a computer until it stops
working.



For example, someone on dialup would not notice that this kind of
hardware is particularly slow.
