Ok, after a lot of messing with the command tools, I think I got it 
crack that I use key 3 of 4 and the configuration i think was 
transmitting 1/3. Thanks to whoever wrote iwlist :-)

Now I just have to write a script that will fire up any network I have 
preconfigured when it comes in range, I go a lot of places with wireless :-)
