Bugfix updates?

Yes, I am talking about the IPW2200 driver. Version 0.19, which is 
included with Hoary, is nearly unusable. In my opinion it would be a 
great move if Ubuntu would release an official update package that would 
update the driver to 1.0.4.

I know that it's possible to upgrade "by hand" (which I did also), but 
an official package would just be much more convenient.
