I just got back from the Adirondacks where I had no connection -- sorry for
the anachronistic reply.

When you first got in to Python you mentioned your interest in Emacs as an
editor. Emacs is also a lot of other things including an excellent
newsreader, in Gnus, which I cannot live without when it comes to managing
many lists and many messages.

There is a huge learning curve that one experiences immediately, but all
things worth while take some configuration, right? And you'll have one of
the most dense and usable wikis I have ever encountered in my limited
experience, at your side:

There is also great disparity in the personal reactions to Emacs -- one
senses this whenever people write about it. So, check it out, set one up on
your machine.

Emacs is also the finest way to navigate info pages.

Let me know what you think.
