$ find /lib/modules/`uname -r` -name "*usb-stor*"

Nothing

$ sudo modprobe usb-storage
FATAL: Module usb_storage not found.
$ dmesg | tail
usb 4-5: new high speed USB device using address 4
usb 4-5: USB disconnect, address 4
usb 4-3: new high speed USB device using address 5
usb 4-3: USB disconnect, address 5

Hmm. Wrong kernel perhaps.

$ uname -a
Linux maria 2.6.9v6 #1 Fri Dec 17 21:35:03 EST 2004 i686 GNU/Linux
