missing usb_storage in Hoary

I wonder if this is why plugging in my usb camera no longer causes
gthumb to pop up. I don't get the disk icon on the desktop either.
This is on my desktop, I'll have to check my laptop. Looking in
/sys/module I see that I don't have a usb_storage either.
