Warty to Hoary Upgrade problem

Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade, but many of the packages depend on Python and I
get this error when I try to upgrade the dependent packages or
Python2.4 itself:

Unpacking python2.4-minimal (from .../python2.4-minimal_2.4.1-0_i386.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing
/var/cache/apt/archives/python2.4-minimal_2.4.1-0_i386.deb (--unpack):
 trying to overwrite `/usr/bin/python2.4', which is also in package python2.4
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/python2.4-minimal_2.4.1-0_i386.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
E: Failed to process build dependencies

Anybody know how I can fix this error?
