UTF-8 problem

Me, too.

Back when I was using ISO-8859-1, everything was fine either in a 
VC or an xterm, while with UTF-8, an xterm displays things correctly 
while a VC does not (mc is particularly awful). Does anyone know the 
secret of getting UTF-8 to display ncurses stuff as is should look?
