Yes, I was thinking of suggesting something similar¹.  If you then use 
apt-file to locate the package with that file, you can just install it.

¹ When I say I was going to suggest this to you, Jeff Co, I would have, except 
that you sent your reply to me personally, where the discussion is useless to 
other Ubuntu users.  Please try to keep Ubuntu discussions on the ubuntu
