You could call it "EUbuntu" :-P (scary.. that kinda fits...)

E17 may look utterly fantastic but it is NOT ready for end user
consumption. Nor is it's development cycle suitable for Ubuntu (the
various stages of "E" have taken YEARS to  hit new versions.. what
would be the point of releasing new versions of Ubuntu if the desktop
component is the same buggy one time after time after time?)

There is nothing stopping you from installing it for yourself, and
after 3 months of using it I'd love to hear you opinion of it. ;-)
