Even after the "hack" I can't get to firefox extentions...

You could try installing the extension "User Agent Switcher", and
change your User Agent to Internet Explorer, Opera, or whatever
browser you want. As far as I checked, the Firefox website will let
you through.

Unfortunately, the chicken-and-egg problem comes up, as in how to
install this extension in the first place, which is not that easy.
Look on the internet, mozdev would be a good place to start I guess..
