So, I guess I'll be a part of the testers. That's fine
with me.

I do want to get entirely away from Windows - esp. ME.
But this ol' Laptop is also used on the job and so
ME's got to stay until I get Linux working right -
including wirelessly with WEP encryption.  So, it
looks like I'll have to be doing it on the weekends.

As for the wireless issue, I'll follow your advice and

I will - but there will be lag time as indicated
