can't launch Ethereal as root

The problem is the command which is launched when from gnome-menu to 
start ethereal.
Just get smeg, so you can edit the Gnome menu's and then change the 
command to
gksudo ethereal. This will you're used sudo before loading ethereal and 
running ethereal as root.
